Discovery Month Workshops - Sep 2025
NTU Museum opened the new Academic Year 2025-2026 with a series of three fun workshops for the incoming freshmen as part of Orientation Discovery Month Arts & Culture activities in September 2025.
We shared the secrets behind the many artworks located on our sprawling campus on a specially curated guided Campus Art Trail along the North Spine.
Nature-based art studio Wild Dot returned for another edition of Earth Explorations, but this time at a new location at exploring the terrain around the historic Yunnan Gardens.
Miniatures artist Tinysnips who makes teeny-tiny models of food and everyday objects taught our students how to create their own renditions of NTU's iconic building The Hive and the artwork Fern.
Earth Explorations: SHHK with Wild Dot
Wild Dot returned for another round of Earth Explorations, this time at a new location exploring the greenery of the historic Yunnan Garden! Students learned to forage and create natural pigments using the earth around the gardens and experimented with earth paint and outdoor sketching techniques.

About Wild Dot
Wild Dot is a nature-guided art studio from Singapore. Combining design, art and botany, they make inks and colour pigments with plants and earth growing in Singapore, and share this process through designing playful artmaking experiences with others. Their intention is to explore how the process of (art)making can be an accessible way for more people to relearn our relations with plants and our environments.
NTU in Smol: Miniatures Workshop with Tinysnips
Under the tutelage of miniatures artist Tinysnips who created many of NTU’s most recognisable art and architectural icons in miniature form for ARTease, students took part in two hands-on workshops to recreate the swirling curves of the Hive and the graceful fronds of the Fern bench in miniature. The students enjoyed expressing themselves creatively and made new friends with other like-minded students.

Guided Campus Art Trail presented by NTU Museum
To celebrate the newly relaunched Campus Art Trail, NTU Museum led a small walking tour to uncovered the intriguing public artworks, stunning architectural wonders and heritage gems around campus in one epic guided art walk along the North Spine. Students discovered the behind-the-scenes stories and got to see the sculptures and buildings that they walk by everyday in a new light.
