Nanyang Research Programme Junior Researcher (NRPjr)

The Nanyang Research Programme Junior Researcher (NRPjr) is a sister programme to the Nanyang Research Programme (NRP). It is targeted at the Year 3 and 4 students in selected Secondary Schools and Integrated Programme (IP) Schools, providing an invaluable opportunity for these students to dabble, delve, discover, and deepen their knowledge in areas that interest them.

The NRPjr offers a variety of research topics from the College of Computing and Data Science, College of Engineering, College of Science, College of Humanities, Arts, & Social Sciences, Nanyang Business School, National Institute of Education, and the University's research institutions and centres. It seeks to offer students with a keen interest in and aptitude for research the opportunity to engage in the process of intellectual inquiry by undertaking projects in a real research environment under the supervision of NTU faculty and researchers.

NRPjr requires students from the same school to work in pairs and be supported by a teacher mentor who will work closely with the students and their NRPjr Supervisor.

NRPjr participants will undertake eight months of research activities from April to December, culminating in the submission of a research paper in January of the following year and an oral presentation assessment in late February or early March.
