West Side Art Tour: On the cusp edition
The inaugural West Side Art Tour was held over 3 Saturdays coinciding with the launch of NTU Museum's On the cusp art exhibition and Singapore Art Week 2026. This art-focused walking and bus tour introduced visitors to the arts, heritage and architecture located in and around the NTU Campus.
The tour kicked off with a look at the old Nanyang Arch entrance to Nanyang University, now located a stone's throw from Pioneer MRT station. Next, a tour to the picturesque Potter's Garden, hidden in the midst of the upcoming Jurong Innovation District and linked to Singapore's last remaining dragon kilns in Jalan Bahar Clay Studios and Thow Kwang Pottery Jungle. Onwards to the sprawling NTU Campus with a special guided tour of the three On the cusp exhibition artworks on view, as well as a glimpse into the university's oldest and newest buildings.
All 3 tours were fully booked, thank you to all who made the long commutes on a Saturday morning. A special thanks to our community partners: Jalan Bahar Clay Studios, Thow Kwang Pottery Jungle and JTC for providing information and access to their spaces for this tour.
The West Side Art Tour is set to return, stay tuned for more.
