To support students and early-career researchers, POWERS administers awards and scholarships. The efforts are part of the Educate framework providing additional opportunities to pursue STEM as an academic and career choice.

Tan Seow Chiap - POWERS Women in STEM Scholarship

TSC-POWERS Scholarship

Supports prospective students to study STEM at NTU. The application process is concurrent with the NTU admission.

The scholarship is made possible through the generous private gift from Dr. Tan See Leng, Singapore Minister of Manpower, and named after his late father.

Women in Engineering, Science, and Technology Development Grant

WiEST Development Grant

Supports graduating PhD students and early-career researchers. The grant calls for applications annually on Marie Curie's birthday, 7 November, and closes on 31 December.

The grant is made possible by the generous gifts from J&K Gouw Foundation and Micron with matching funds from College of Engineering, College of Science, College of Computing and Data Science, and LKC School of Medicine.
