NTU Opportunity Grant (NOG)
The NTU Opportunity Grant (NOG), made possible through the support of UOB and the Wee Foundation, provides additional financial assistance to financially needy Singapore Citizen full-time undergraduate freshmen (Year 1) in AY2026/AY2027 onwards. The grant supports students’ participation in key aspects of the university experience, including on-campus accommodation and approved overseas exposure programmes, to promote a more holistic undergraduate education.
Applicants must:
- Be a Singapore Citizen
- Be a full-time undergraduate freshman (Year 1) from AY2026/AY2027 onwards, excluding medicine programme.
- Be assessed as eligible for the Higher Education Community Bursary (Tier 1), with Per Capita Income (PCI) not exceeding S$1,000 or Gross Household Income (GHI) not exceeding S$4,000
- The NTU Opportunity Grant provides funding of up to S$10,000 over the course of up to four years of study.
- The grant may be used to offset on-campus accommodation fees and/or approved overseas exchange or immersion programmes.
- The final grant amount is determined at the University’s discretion, based on the actual cost of the approved immersion programme and/or on-campus accommodation.

Overseas Immersion Programmes
- Students who submitted a bursary application in March and are assessed to be eligible for the Higher Education Community Bursary (Tier 1) will receive an offer notification via email from May onwards.
- Eligible students must accept the offer and indicate the intended use of the grant (on-campus accommodation or overseas exchange/immersion programme) via the Financial Aid Portal.
- Upon acceptance, the grant will be applied directly towards eligible expenses.
