Why is the Mindset the new unseen strategic leadership competency?

Abstract

We are no longer living in a time of rapid changes. We have entered a change of time.

The signals are all around us: geopolitical, economic, social, cultural and technological movements that are unpredictable, unprecedented and rapid, impacting all our business decisions and activities.  We can no longer respond with the way of thinking that got us here. The uncertainty calls for new strategic leadership competencies: a new way of thinking and being, a new mindset.

This is the area Dr. Isabel Rimanoczy has focused her research and work, as she studied business leaders that were the earliest pioneers of a new Sustainability Mindset. She is bringing to Singapore the core findings and elements of her study, linking them down to the context of the audience. In an experiential, interactive workshop participants will be invited to connect the Sustainability Mindset Principles with their own business reality, identifying ways to start developing the new unseen strategic competitive advantage: A mindset for innovation, resilience and agile adaptive responses.
