Chong Shur Chin is a Teaching Fellow at the National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore, where she specializes in teacher education and the advancement of technology-enabled pedagogical practices. Her career spans the full spectrum of Singapore’s education landscape, encompassing classroom teaching, school leadership, and system-level policy development within the Ministry of Education (MOE).
Prior to joining NIE, Shur Chin held key leadership appointments, including Head of Department (HOD) for Mother Tongue Languages (Primary and Secondary) and HOD for Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology. Today, she continues to support educators in translating curriculum and policy intentions into sustainable, effective classroom practices.
