Samuel works on commissioned visual projects and teaches photojournalism and documentary courses at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He also supervises students on Final Year Projects and is an internship supervisor.
He is a founding investor of Our Grandfather Story, Singapore’s leading micro-documentary content publisher, and currently serves on its Board of Directors.
Prior to this, he worked as a film director and co-founder at Weave, and as a photojournalist with The Straits Times.

Frankie is a Consulting Editor at The Edge Singapore. He is best known for his in-depth reporting on Singapore’s largest securities fraud case—the 2013 penny-stock crash—and for his analytical coverage of companies undergoing strategic pivots, balance-sheet restructuring, and secondary fundraising.
Prior to joining The Edge Singapore, he worked at Dow Jones Newswires (the parent company of The Wall Street Journal), and earlier at MediaCorp.
In addition to journalism, he advises companies on strategic communications and investor engagement, assisting management teams in clearly articulating business models, capital-allocation decisions, and risk narratives to professional audiences.
Frankie teaches business journalism at the school, and is also a Professional Internship supervisor.

Joan has experience in editorial, branding, marketing, and creative direction, working across media and events. She was formerly an Assistant Creative Director at ELLE, where she worked on editorial layouts and print production, with a strong focus on commercial viability and audience engagement.
She is also a partner at Man on the Moon, a boutique events agency, where she leads creative direction and brand-led advertising campaigns. Joan has contributed to layout and design work for Catholic News and previously held a part-time role with Wings for Digital for Life, supporting marketing and digital literacy initiatives.
In education, Joan serves as a Professional Internship Supervisor and Moderator for Video Final Year Projects (FYP). She currently teaches Print & Digital Publication, focusing on conceptual thinking, typographic discipline, and real-world design standards across print and digital media.

Jeremy is an alumnus of WKWSCI’s MA and PhD programmes and is currently a Lecturer with the Interdisciplinary Collaborative Core (ICC) Office.
His teaching portfolio at the undergraduate and graduate level includes Social Consequences of Mobile Communication, Communication Research and Data Analysis, and Science & Technology for Humanity (interdisciplinary core course).
Jeremy’s research interests include technology and society, media and wellbeing, and loneliness and social isolation (studied academically, not autobiographically).

Darren is an alumnus of WKWSCI with over 16 years of experience in the commercial video production industry. He co-founded Little Red Ants Creative Studio in 2009 and expanded the company regionally with a presence in Vietnam in 2017.
In addition, he launched The Hummingbird Co in 2016 to focus on original content and co-founded Otterly Creative in 2025 for social media–driven work.
Darren continues to explore new storytelling technologies while teaching Media Presentation & Performance, supervising professional internships, and moderating video Final Year Projects (FYP) at WKWSCI.

Eternality is a NIE-certified educator and professional film programmer with over 10 years of experience in the media industry and both public and private education sectors.
He teaches courses related to film studies, with a focus on history, culture, and discourse in cinema, as well as the film festival practicum. He also supervises professional internships, and moderates Final Year Projects.
Eternality’s professional Interests include film studies, cultural studies, film festivals and curriculum design.

He teaches Audio in Media at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information.
