Travel Grant

A limited number of travel grants, of up to SGD1000 each, will be awarded to graduate students who may otherwise be unable to attend APSA26. 

Participants wishing to apply for a travel grant should submit a PDF document in Oxford Abstracts (https://app.oxfordabstracts.com/stages/79846/submitter), under the ‘APSA Travel Grant: Application Submission’ question, comprising:

• Their CV (highlighting where they would satisfy the selection criteria below)
• A 1-page long letter explaining how attending APSA26 would benefit their career/research, and demonstrating at least one of the following: 
• No further opportunities to apply for travel funding.
• Lack of sufficient alternative funding for basic travel costs.
• No available personal research funding (e.g., from individual research projects).

Selection Criteria (in order of priority)

• Participants from or based in Asia;
• In temporary positions; 
• Early-career researchers (doctoral candidates or ≤ 5 years post-PhD).
