Nanyang Technological University is proud to present the highly anticipated Chua Thian Poh Pinnacle Prize. Inspired by Dr Chua Thian Poh’s legacy of innovation and resilience, this national competition is designed to spotlight and accelerate bold ideas to shape our future and strives to champion Singapore’s next generation of innovators.
Organised by NTU Innovation & Entrepreneurship Office and supported by the Chua Thian Poh Entrepreneurship Education Fund, this competition brings together the nation’s most promising trailblazers on one prestigious stage.
The 2026 inaugural edition focuses on AI for Good and Smart Cities, calling on teams to build ethical, inclusive, and future-ready solutions that address real-world challenges — from sustainability and urban resilience to community wellbeing. Through artificial intelligence to solve humanity’s toughest problems, to reimagining how our cities can become more connected, sustainable, and resilient — this competition calls upon inventors ready to push boundaries and deliver real-world impact.
Participants will submit a 90-second video pitch and a 1,000-word proposal. Finalists are selected through expert judging. Their projects will be presented in an exhibition for public voting, before pitching live at the Demo Day.
Finalists can also gain access to top mentors, entrepreneurs, industry experts, and investors.
S$180,000 in cash awaits the top three teams.
