Build Frontiers Research Through Sustained Global Collaboration
The IAS@NTU Visiting Outstanding Young and Advanced Global Experts (VOYAGE) Fellowship brings exceptional international researchers to Nanyang Technological University (NTU) for extended, high-impact engagement in interdisciplinary research. The Fellowship is open to outstanding overseas-based researchers who are not currently affiliated with a Singapore-based institution.
Established and coordinated by the Institute of Advanced Studies (IAS), the VOYAGE Fellowship serves as a strategic platform to attract distinguished global scholars to NTU. Academic hosting is undertaken by NTU’s Colleges and Schools, with IAS providing programme oversight, interdisciplinary integration, and institutional coordination. The Fellowship is designed for both emerging research talents and internationally recognised leaders who seek meaningful academic residency rather than short-term visits.
VOYAGE Fellows collaborate closely with NTU host faculty across the College of Science, College of Engineering, College of Computing and Data Science, College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. Through sustained residency, Fellows contribute to advancing NTU’s research priorities, strengthening interdisciplinary linkages, mentoring researchers across career stages, and enhancing NTU’s global research partnerships and standing.
