Belt and Road Initiative
The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) refers to the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.
The Silk Road Economic Belt calls for the integration of the region situated on the original Silk Road through Central Asia, West Asia, the Middle East and Europe, into a cohesive economic area, through building infrastructure, increasing cultural exchanges and broadening trade.
Whereas for the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, it is an initiative aimed at investing and fostering collaboration in Southeast Asia, Oceania and North Africa.
This web presentation will provide a brief overview of the Belt and Road Initiative and useful information of the countries and the projects in each Economic Corridor in this Initiative.
