The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) plays an integral role in spearheading tertiary education, advancing research innovations and providing professional services in a number of key disciplines in Civil and Environmental Engineering and Maritime Studies fields, to contribute to the technological and economic advancement of Singapore and beyond.

Research Focus & Grants

The School comprises strategic research focus groups, and together, they form a powerhouse of resources for research development, technology innovation, and research manpower training. Our faculty has been very competitive in securing research grants to fund their research.

Research Centres & Collaboration

CEE is home to two research centres: Centre for Urban Solutions (CUS) and Protective Technology Research Centre (PTRC). Additionally, we host a college research centre — Centre of Excellence in Maritime Energy & Sustainable Development (MESD).
