Nayila
Biographical Profile
Nayila received her Bachelor of Arts in Translation from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, followed by a Master of Arts in Translation and Interpretation at Nanyang Technological University. Beyond linguistic analysis, she expanded her research into bilingual cognition during her master’s studies. Her thesis examined the eye-movement patterns of interpreters during English-Chinese simultaneous interpreting.
She first joined CRADLE as a student assistant and later became a Research Assistant, working closely with young children from diverse backgrounds. She now focuses on investigating the neural development of children’s reading ability using fNIRS.
