Harcharan Singh Benevolent Bursary

Honouring a Legacy. Supporting Future Generations.

The College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS) is honoured to introduce the Harcharan Singh Benevolent Bursary, a meaningful initiative established in memory of the late Professor Harcharan Singh (1941–2020).

Professor Singh’s enduring dedication to Nanyang Technological University and its students has left an indelible mark on the College. This bursary was created to commemorate his lifelong commitment to education, student support, and community impact – values that continue to shape CCDS today.

About the Bursary

The Harcharan Singh Benevolent Bursary provides assistance and encouragement to CCDS students throughout their academic journey, ensuring that financial circumstances do not stand in the way of talent, potential, and perseverance.

More than financial aid, the bursary represents a living tribute to Professor Singh’s belief in uplifting students and building a strong, supportive academic community. It stands as a lasting testament to his values and will continue to empower and inspire future generations of CCDS students.
