About Us

Building on the success of Phase 1 (2019 – 2025), Nanyang Technological University and AUMOVIO are proud to launch AUMOVIO-NTU Corporate Lab, a research collaboration that strives to drive mobility innovation and shape the future of transportation through cutting-edge technologies. It's the second phase of the Continental-NTU Corporate Lab, rebranded after Continental Automotive's spin-off into AUMOVIO on 1 September 2025.
AUMOVIO-NTU Corporate Lab has two main missions:
- Leveraging the innovation successes of Phase 1 to accelerate commercialization
- Enhance the development of innovative products and services faster with a focus on standards, security, and sustainability, through close collaboration with AUMOVIO's business areas and industry partners.
Supported by the Industry Alignment Fund–Industry Collaboration Project (IAF-ICP) scheme, AUMOVIO-NTU Corporate Lab embarks on an ambitious 3-year research initiative (2025-2028), comprising 13 industry-focused projects across three strategic pillars:
- Sustainability and Novel Materials: Developing innovative materials and production methods for next-generation automotive products.
- Artificial Intelligence: Crafting efficient, sustainable AI algorithms and deployment strategies to elevate mobility experiences.
- Connectivity and Security: Pioneering advanced wired and wireless communication technologies, alongside robust cybersecurity measures, to safeguard the future of automotive connectivity.
These 13 projects will draw on the expertise of faculty members and scientists from NTU’s engineering and business schools and its research institutes, and AUMOVIO’s wealth of industrial experience in electronic products and advanced mobility solutions, to generate cutting-edge, sustainable mobility solutions and drive AUMOVIO's purpose to make mobility safe, exciting, connected and autonomous.
