How do I become an NTU Alumni?
- Graduate with a diploma or degree from any of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU) or National Institute of Education (NIE) or their predecessor institutions and you will automatically become a full-fledged alumnus who can be part of your College/ School’s Alumni Association.
- Be a conferred an honorary doctorate by NTU as a distinguished individual.
- All alumni can enjoy S$1,600 worth of NTU Alumni Course Credits to take courses – terms and conditions apply.
How do I become an Associate Alumni?
- Those who complete and obtain a certificate from approved NTU short courses and executive education programmes or complete a SkillsFuture Transition Programme (polytechnic graduates & above with least 4 years of working experience) may be invited by NTU Singapore to join as an Associate Alumni.
- Those who complete Graduate Certificate and FlexiMasters programmes are automatically granted Associate Alumni status.
- You will also be invited if you are an international exchange student (regardless of undergraduate or postgraduate) who has spent at least one semester or trimester at NTU. Or, you hold PhD qualification and have either completed a research fellowship with NTU or have been engaged as visiting professors at NTU for a least one semester or trimester.
What is the difference between the two types of alumni membership?
Associate Alumni enjoy the same benefits as full Alumni, with the exception of Alumni Course Credits. Additionally, eligibility for tuition discounts on selected coursework-based master’s programmes may differ for Associate Alumni. Please check with the NTU course provider at the time of application.
