Research Brief

Honglin's research explores the transformation of post-industrial sites into thriving ecological landscapes that reconnect cities with their coastal environments. His research interests encompass landscape ecology, spatial narrative, coastal ecosystem restoration and the adaptive reuse of post-industrial ruin.

Honglin has worked at renowned design firms across the United States, Japan, China and Singapore. His portfolio encompasses a diverse range of landscape projects, including urban public spaces, waterfront plazas, residential landscapes, natural resorts and rural revitalisation landscapes.
