Research Brief

Standley's research examines the intersection of arts, business and cultural policy, with a focus on future-proofing Singapore’s visual arts sector. His study investigates how institutional logics, entrepreneurship and policy frameworks shape the sustainability and development of the visual arts ecosystem. Drawing on his experience in arts education and business development at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Centre for Lifelong Education, he integrates practice-based insights with academic research to inform strategies that strengthen art entrepreneurship, institutional resilience and policy responsiveness within Singapore’s visual arts landscape.
