    Research Brief

Rudradutt's research explores the mythological figures of Hanuman from The Ramayana and Sun Wukong from Journey to the West, examining their representations within Indian and Chinese shadow theatre traditions through a comparative study. Adopting a practice-as-research approach, he aims to reimagine a dialogue between these figures by integrating traditional shadow theatre with modern animation in a multidisciplinary and experimental performance.
