Research Brief

Kathy Anne’s research examines how photographic typologies or structured comparative image series can be mobilised to communicate environmental change in Southeast Asia. Traditionally used for classification and evidence, typologies have evolved into strategies for visualising the slow violence, non-linearity and cumulative effects of climate change, particularly sea level rise and urban flooding.
