Taking Primary Care To The Next Level
Research that aims to translate innovations in early detection and management of common conditions into routine primary care practice. This includes use of novel approaches to risk prediction including genomics, biomarkers and AI to target interventions to those most likely to benefit.
We prioritise questions that matter to patients and healthcare providers, to enhance the quality, accessibility and effectiveness of primary care services.
By partnering with GPs and the community, the PUMA study aims to improve the diagnosis of lung diseaseOur impact
Personalised, National And International Primary Care Advances
We built the SPARK national primary care research network that links clinicians and health service providers with academic staff to conduct research and develop research capacity.
We have conducted trials and interventional studies in general practices, including the HOPE trial for heart health, PUMA study for diagnosis of lung disease and Soundkeepers study for detection and management of depressive symptoms in older adults.
By integrating technology, novel clinical care models and lived experience from healthcare providers, patients and the public in our work, we create accessible, and personalised solutions.
The Singapore Primary Care Research and Knowledge (SPARK) network brings together clinicians working in primary care with researchers to grow innovation and research in primary care.Contact us:
