Date: 1 April 2026 (Wednesday)
Time: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

The upcoming Lien Fellow Speakers Series will feature Mr. Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State at the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Digital Development and Information, Singapore. He will lead a dialogue on “AI in Healthcare”, sharing his policy perspectives and insights on how artificial intelligence is shaping the healthcare landscape in Singapore.

By 2030, one in four Singaporeans will be aged 65 and above. As Singapore’s healthcare system evolves to meet the needs of an ageing population, advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) present significant opportunities to drive transformation. Mr Tan will discuss how Singapore is leveraging AI to bring care closer to communities, empower healthcare professionals, and enhance the overall patient experience. He will also address key policy considerations and trade-offs involved in implementing AI in a meaningful and responsible manner.

The session will begin with a short address, followed by a Q&A segment, and will last approximately one hour. This is a valuable opportunity to gain first-hand insights into how AI is shaping the future of healthcare in Singapore, directly from a national policymaker.
